Lotus Garden

The design envisions a home that nurtures emotional comfort, human connection, and everyday rituals through a balanced relationship between spatial flow, natural light, and material warmth. More than a shelter, the house is conceived as a living environment that responds to daily routines, sensory experiences, and the emotional needs of its occupants.
The planning is centered around a main living zone that acts as the heart of the home, creating visual continuity and effortless movement between living, dining, and kitchen spaces. This arrangement encourages interaction while maintaining an intuitive workflow for everyday activities. Private areas such as bedrooms are placed along quieter edges, allowing moments of retreat and personal comfort.
Natural light and ventilation are key design elements. Carefully positioned openings and layered thresholds allow daylight to move gently through the interiors while supporting cross ventilation and thermal comfort. The changing light throughout the day adds depth and atmosphere to each space.
Materiality is intentionally warm and tactile, using timber finishes, earthy textures, and handcrafted details to create familiarity and belonging. These elements soften the spatial experience and reinforce a sense of calm.
